Westport Rivers is a family owned vineyard and winery producing estate grown wines from New England 's largest vineyard. Their wines include traditional method sparkling wine, Chardonnay, Rosé of Pinot Noir, Riesling and other Alsatian varietals. They are best known for sparkling wines which rival any from around the globe. As Madeleine Kamman (Chef, Educator and Award-Winning Cookbook Author) has noted, "They can't do this in California; many in France are not this good." In addition, they make a variety of exciting table wines; in particular, their chardonnay is stylish with wonderful acidity and lots of fruit. The New York Times notes that their chardonnay is "virtually flawless".

Owner/ Vineyard Manager Rob Russell puts you to work picking grapes and tending the vines, then rewards you with a gourmet wine dinner.

The Russell's founded both Buzzards Bay Brewing and Westport Rivers Winery upon their deep regard for local agriculture and education. As of 2006 over 300 acres of working farmland has been permanently preserved by the companies.

Using their own natural spring water, they brew and package all beer onsite. Over 90% of our raw materials are American with only the finishing hops grown overseas. "They continue to attempt to source all of their own raw materials close to home, helping strengthen local economies and keep jobs."

Thursday Nights - 5pm to 8pm through Labor Day
Education Nights: bring your own food, plates, chairs, etc...the grills are available for grilling! We'll provide in depth information about several of the brews we make at BBB and for $5 you get a glass and a chance to sample 2 of them with the food you bring! Food and beer are a great part of life. There is also a tour of the brewery and a chance to ask questions.
